Catherine is an amazing Dance teacher. She is fun, encouraging, patient and very knowledgeable on Blues partner dancing. I learned so much in my lessons with her that made me transition from a novice dancer to someone who is confident and has his basics down as a lead. Be open to let her suggest things to work on, that will help you identify things which you never thought you had to learn. The best part was she also corrected some of my bad habits, which I now realized may have been uncomfortable for the followers while dancing. She is also an Yogi and very body aware, which helped me a lot since I was able to identify and correct some postural issues while dancing and in regular life.

Taking Catherine's blues dance classes have not only provided me with awesome new insights and facets to my dancing, but also a more firm knowledge of the history of blues dance. Catherine is WONDERFUL!! I sure wish she was still here in Eugene. She knows her stuff and is eager and happy to share it with you. She will help you take your dance to the next level whether you are a brand new beginner or a seasoned pro. All this and you will have fun doing it because she is so much fun to be around. She will help you spot and correct bad habits and help you develop new good ones. And did I mention she's fun to be around? Yeah, that! I say it again because it's true but I think it's because of her devotion to dance and to her students. She WANTS you to succeed! If you have the chance to spend time with her, DO IT!!!
